IS MAKING PANELA SUGAR GOOD FOR THE ENVIRONMENT?
Panela sugar is still produced using traditional technology and by small-scale farmers. Many Certified Organic raw sugar farms, and they also use very sustainable processes. These processes protect both the environment in which the sugarcane is harvested and processed as well as the communities that traditionally produce this staple.
ARE BONRAW SUGARS CERTIFIED ORGANIC?
Yes, we have made a long-term commitment to the organic process to become certified and comply to the requirements. We confirm, both our Coconut and Panela sugars are certified. We are working on the Silverbirch.
IS THE PACKAGING RECYCLABLE?
Yes - please dispose of with your recyclable waste, or better still... re-use the pot! It can be used in the fridge, freezer and even microwave.
ARE BONRAW SUGARS VEGAN?
Yes - with Bonraw you never have to worry that bone char is used nor whether animals were harmed in the process.
IS SILVERBIRCH GOOD FOR ME?
Yes. As a sweetener, Silverbirch is an excellent choice. Whereas some sweeteners and sugars may cause health risks, studies show multiple health benefits.
