Well , the difference is that BONRAW Silver Birch Icing is completely sugar-free


Here's how to add the icing to the cake


  • 115 g of unsalted butter
  • 220 g of Silver Birch Icing
  • 2 tbsp of double cream
  • 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract (Optional)



Add 115 g of unsalted butter to a mixing bowl and beat until its light and fluffy.


Carefully sift BONRAW Silver Birch Icing and then begin working it into the butter. Do this slowly until the mixture begins to combine.


Then add 2 tbsp of double cream and continue beating the mixture until you’ve reached your ideal consistency. (Creamy and smooth)


For taste add 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract and mix into your icing.


Now , its showtime.. add your icing to your bake. You could drizzle your sugar-free icing onto pancakes , full up a piping bag for a satisfying swirl of icing on a cupcake, or pour it onto you styling Bundt cake.



The options are plentiful and delicious Tips:

  1. If your buttercream has become too thick then you can add just 1 tsp of milk to achieve a flawless consistency.
  2. Get creative and add a food coloring of your choice to you icing mix. Take some cues from us, everything looks prettier in pink.
